To all friends, family, co-workers and readers – have a fantastic and marvelous 2012. And no, we’re not abroad in a different TZ but it looks like the social media will clog up just like good ol’ telecoms used to. Especially for the ‘antipodes’ (tegenvoeters) some good night wishes, you started off with the new year for us, amazing!
On next years program at least having more fun, some more official business with CT and obviously enjoying life! Who knows which challenges lie ahead, but together we can cope with ‘m and otherwise manage ‘m away
So a (virtual) toast for in a few hours, we continue to enjoy the party and accompanying fireworks display!
So, X-Mas dinner version 2.0.11 is completed I’ve upgradend my blog to also contain recepis now, unfortunately for the English readers they are all in Dutch though. On special request the recipes are the full ones, but just to give you an insight of what we munched away (no, not everything gone, lots left). As English readers won’t be click on the recipes probably the ‘read more’ link contains some additional pictures of our meal!
All in all a wonderfull and tasty combination and getting comfy was very much needed, both our visitors and ourselves can enjoy it once more because (mainly) the Beef and the cake was more than enough for 8
Instead of familie cooking at home and having the in-laws present at our house we switchend locaties to Asian Paradise this year. It’s quiet a change, getting into a restaurant at X-Mas Delightful though as we enjoyed the Seafood specialities of the Japanase Teppan the whole evening, when given the choice between Wok and Teppan it’s an easy pick! The evening was illustrated by some musicians (live) and our nieces enjoyed the ‘grab anything you like’ concept very much All in all a nice change!
Dat is wel even wennen, zomaar in een restaurant verzeild raken Wel lekker natuurlijk want we hebben de hele avond genoten van de visspecialiteiten van de bakplaat, als je toch de keus hebt uit wokken of bakplaat is het natuurlijk makkelijk! De avond werd opgeluisterd door wat muzikale ondersteuning (live) en ook de nichtjes hebben genoten van het ‘pak maar wat je lekker vindt’ concept Kortom een leuke afwisseling!
It looks like Autumn has finally chosen to arrive despite it being almost november So time again to fire up the BGE for a pizza, naturally home-made and home baked!
As also shown by Marianne on her weblog we spend the sunday afternoon at Live38, despite the audience being less comfy compared to last year the music was great and we enjoyed Edwin and his friends very much!
The time of year, last week the new ERO (Emergency Response Officers) had their basic training as you might have read at Marianne‘s blog and this week the repeat-training for the existing ERO’s took place. Karel fulfilled his commitment this year, it was even more interesting and challenging. See the picture for a nice view of the flaming hot final and a short movie with some highlights
