Man, the excitement. The instructor tells you to &#8216;come on board&#8217; and start driving for 30-45 minutes. He will only instruct (not help!) and you&#8217;ve got to make to most out of it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tom.scholten.nu\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/rijbewijs.jpg\" title=\"rijbewijs.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[812]\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/tom.scholten.nu\/weblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/rijbewijs.thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"rijbewijs.jpg\" \/><\/a>Purpose? They want to check your level of experience and the amount of instructiontime required. In my case its the &#8216;standard&#8217; 1 day training and exam. Start in the morning and take the exam in the afternoon. 14th of june is the day and my instructor is confident that i&#8217;m gonna make it!<\/p>\n<p>To me, it&#8217;s all new and fuzzy. Driving a combination of 11 meters, along the old military base between students on bikes, turn the combination 180 degrees and &#8230; best of all a big Mercedes van driving automatic (we&#8217;re used to manual shift in the Netherlands).
