Als sinds ik een iPhone heb, of eigenlijk al sinds er mobieltjes bestaan, zou ik graag gebruikmaken van tijdregistratie op een mobiel. Die heb je immers eigenlijk altijd bij je en die kan perfect bijhouden hoe, wat en waar! Na diverse zoektochten voor een iAppje ben ik dan toch geslaagd – ClockedIn

Met deze tool kan je eenvoudig op je (laatst gewerkte) projecten of activiteiten boeken en deze achteraf eventueel corrigeren/invoeren. Helaas rond de applicatie dingen niet af (en zijn er op moment van schrijven geen instellingen voor). Een tweede minpuntje is dat je soms ‘verwacht’ dat aantikken genoeg is maar je dan toch nog op ‘Done’ moet klikken.

Daartegenover staat dat de applicatie heel duidelijk weergeeft hoe een dag eruit ziet en handige HTML rapporten kan genereren (copy/paste naar Excel en/of Numbers gaat daarmee prima!). Je kunt zowel op dag, week als maandbasis bekijken en/of rapporteren.

As you might have seen on Marianne’s webhoekje we’ve enjoyed the musical Joseph. For me a wondering experience, after seeing the ‘movie’ the idea of the music was a bit flat comparing it to ‘The Dreamer’ i’ve performed in myself at the JKO. So i had my ‘reservations’ and deliberately didn’t YouTube on the musical to get an objective walk into the theatre.
Well, mr ALWebber, Rice, vd Ende and especially mw Bijl … chapeau! I’ve been swinging and enjoying the whole show. The composition of the music exploded from the orchestra and the ‘twists’ to the original Biblical story were so funny i’ve been lauching most of the show. Whereas the movie tries to keep it to the original story and the Dreamer talking a contemporary speed the Jospeh musical takes it to the limits.
A wonderfull evening!

This weekend was, as always, reserved for the Merwede Trinity Cup, a rowing contest on three distances for Sea-scouts. As usual being busy with building up the time registration and together with the digital and stopwatch guys spend a nice time and capturing time carefully. The weather was extremely nice, a good crowd buzz and the food, provided from the kitchen, damn fine! See you next year!

Snow Leopard OSX from Apple came with a bit of trouble. The Option GT Express card for UMTS that i’ve got (and which is also provided rebranded with Vodafone and quiet possibly with more providers) wasn’t working any longer. Instead of just not recognizing the card it crashed the OS (kernel panic). After some long and hard searching (as both Option nor Vodafone (.uk/.nl) has newer drivers/software) i came across a link on the apple support forum and … it actually works.

Delete/uninstall any vodafone/option software you already have (using uninstaller!), remove all Option* items from /System/Library/Extensions and then . Afterwards install the ATT package from this location, as far as i’ve seen this is just a driver package for Option cards and hasn’t much todo with ATT or any provider.

Next i’ve added the GT Modem in Network Preferences, switched the (advanced tab) device to Vodafone and adjusted the dial-in number. It’s working (i’m typing this using the card that is!). Screenshots after the break!
