To ease up my timewriting I started searching whats available nowadays on timewriting tools. I tried a couple and for now settle with TimeSheet. Its ‘nice’ bu not optimal. Achievo used to be all i wanted a couple of years back, but its way to complicated for my current demands. An idea we came up with over at Snow was to find the ‘killer-app’ to do timewriting. For instance a ignition-breaker-device for the car as most consultants at Snow use their car to get to the clients. It would be a nice timing 🙂 But something I thought up last week is to have a bluetooth or wireless lan scanning device. Traveltime is measured by detecting your carkit, the entry on the client by the wireless lan ssid or phones of your collegea … now to find some handy gagets to make it work!
Ofcourse privacy should be guaranteed en must by somewhat ‘fuzzy’ zo it won’t assume things automatically (imaging having a collegae over from work for a chat or going to the bar with a couple of them :))
