During our vacation we also visited the Parrots centre in Veldhoven. If your in the Netherlands (Eindhoven/Brabant) definitely something to visit, especially if you have kids. Not only are the parrots nice and fun but they also have a large outside and a large inside playplace for the kids. They have one cage where parrots are able to come really close (see pictures) and also have other animals. How about feeding squirls, looking at Hawk’s and Owls?
Remember to bring some 50c (euro) coins to refill on nuts, and don’t bring these yourself as most parrots are not allowed certain type of food. The cup Marianne is holding is available at the desk and you can keep the cup! You could bring some apples (or a lot actually) as parrots are very fond of small pieces of apple!
