Joseph

3049As you might have seen on Marianne’s webhoekje we’ve enjoyed the musical Joseph. For me a wondering experience, after seeing the ‘movie’ the idea of the music was a bit flat comparing it to ‘The Dreamer’ i’ve performed in myself at the JKO. So i had my ‘reservations’ and deliberately didn’t YouTube on the musical to get an objective walk into the theatre.
Well, mr ALWebber, Rice, vd Ende and especially mw Bijl … chapeau! I’ve been swinging and enjoying the whole show. The composition of the music exploded from the orchestra and the ‘twists’ to the original Biblical story were so funny i’ve been lauching most of the show. Whereas the movie tries to keep it to the original story and the Dreamer talking a contemporary speed the Jospeh musical takes it to the limits.
