Yup, that time again, this week I had to recertify. NetApp requests (and therefore demands) to have your certification present every two years. Not only by knowledge and skill, but more importantly by getting your exam. As they are still working on the new ‘top’ stack I decided to take the renewed exam. So on monday morning I was in one of the cubicles again at GK in Nieuwegein.
It took some sweat, not only the exam was (or appeared) heavier and it took me some longer than usual – both the PC of my neighbor and mine (he was doing a different exam) decided to ‘logout’ on us. According to the coordinator it was a ‘power dip’ but I’ve rarely seen power dips log off an XP machine. Fortunately after a long 10 minutes we could continue, fortunately we had enough time and the server ‘knew’ where we were when it lost the connection 🙂
A successful morning it turned out to be, although it took some time waiting for the official ‘extension’ till 2014 on CertMetrics! So finding all docs now and sending them of to Snow 🙂
